England

The Brothers of the Christian Schools have been in England since 1855.

Presently, the catalogue is limited to a few cases of collaboration between lay English or Scotch publishers and the Canadian Brothers, without our knowing whether the English fellow members have participated, in some way in those publications. Around 1880, William Collins who indicated London or Glasgow as its head offices, published The Imperial atlas for the dominion of Canada, consisting of maps [...] for the use of the christian schools of which the fourth cover gave a list of "School books published by the Christian Brothers in the Dominion of Canada".

A few years later, the Montreal community published twice the Routledge’s French English and English French Dictionary.
