Truncation

1. Truncation *

To enlarge your hitlist, you can truncate words, using the root stem (4 characters minimum) and the (*).

For example:

will hit records containing words like augustinian, Augustin, Augustinus, etc...

2. Truncation _

You can truncate only the final letter, using the character «_», for example Droit_ will hit records including the words Droit, Droite, Droits.

3. Truncating authors' names

For authors' names,
- the search:

will hit Siman, Simard, etc...

- the search:

will hit: Poirier, Paul-Hubert, Poirier, Michel, etc...

Note that the default option of your search includes plurals with an "s" at the end of the word
